DropCrate is a tool for DJs who buy their music. Paste a playlist from any streaming service and it turns it into a buy list, with one tap to search each track on Beatport and Bandcamp. After you buy and download your tracks, drop the files in and DropCrate renames them the way you like (by BPM, key, label, genre or your own pattern), can fix the tags inside the files, can add cover art, and hands you everything as one zip, ready for your DJ software.
It doesn't sell or download music, and it never logs in to your store accounts. You buy from the stores' own checkout. Your music files stay on your device.
How to use it
Get your playlist in. In your streaming app, select the songs and copy the track list, then tap Paste from clipboard below. Or export the playlist as a CSV or JSON file (for Spotify, a free export tool such as Exportify does this) and choose that file. Lines like Artist - Title work too. Playlist links can't be read, because streaming services keep playlists private.
Buy your tracks. Press Open next. The track opens on a store, where you buy it with your own account. Come back and tick Got it. Your progress is saved in this browser.
Pick a naming style. Choose a preset, such as BPM - Key - Artist - Title, and see a live example. Custom patterns are part of Pro.
Drop in your downloads. Add the files or folders you bought (MP3, FLAC, WAV, AIFF or M4A). Check the new names, then press Download .zip and unzip it into your music folder. Tag fixing for MP3 and FLAC is part of Pro.

Fills in artist, title, album, BPM, key, label and genre. Cover art and other tags are kept. Your original files are never changed.
The image gets the same name as the track, so it sits right beside it, ready to drag into rekordbox. Art comes from your download folder if it has one, then your playlist, then the Cover Art Archive. That last step sends the artist and title (not your files) to MusicBrainz. MP3 and FLAC keep any art already inside the file.
Private by design
Renaming, tag fixing and zipping all happen in your browser. Your music files never get uploaded anywhere. Optional cover art lookup sends only artist and title, and Pro can save your playlist text and settings to your account so they follow you between devices.
You stay in control
You buy from the stores' own checkout with your own account. DropCrate never touches your payment details.
